The Nigerian Naira maintained its resilient posture against the United States Dollar as the second week of February 2026 commenced.
Trading data from Monday morning indicates that the local currency is continuing its recent trend of stability, supported by consistent policy measures and healthy external reserve positions.
The performance of the national currency, the Naira was on an impressive note today against the Dollar at the Nigerian Foreign Exchange Market (NFEM).
There, the Naira exchanged at about 1,363.84 to the dollar, a little less than the 1,366.96 which it traded last Friday.

At the black market, the Naira’s performance was in the range of 1,440 and 1,455 as findings from many Bureau de change centres in such cities as Abuja. Lagos and Kano indicated.
This is coming amidst reiterations in the financial sector that the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) has been up to it in the recent, with fiscal policies.
