How I Get Inspiration For My Music — Tope Indomie

Do you know how fast-rising juju musician gets inspiration for his music?

The musician who is getting more popular by the day, told the Eagle correspondent in an interview that sometimes it happens when he is asleep

 “My inspiration comes from the Almighty God from whom all blessings flow.

Sometimes it could be when I am sleeping; at other times I might just hear a voice singing in my ears.

“I don’t smoke weed neither cigarette to get inspiration so I would say its natural (abinibi)’.

There is no doubt that Tope Indomie, whose real name is Olajide Temitope has become a regular performer at events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, funerals, Annual General Meetings (AGMs), coronations  and other ceremonies.

Married with two kids and a beautiful wife, he started his singing career in the vast city of Ibadan, Oyo state.

And although he has been singing since he was six years old,  but he discovered his genre professionally about 25 years ago

 “I want to say that the journey has not been smooth but through persistence and hard work, I have been able to live above expectations”.

For role models, he lists the maestro Yinka Ayefele(MON), Otunba Femo Lancaster and Orlando Owoh.

“I was opportune to be on Fresh Fm (Ibadan) recently, where I was  interviewed and most of my fans listen and loved my music.

Tope Indomie is from a Christian background and attends a White garment Church in Ibadan.

“In the next 5 years I hope to travel 10 countries around the world with the ministration of my songs for many hearts to make them happy and merry, because that is the essence of good music”.

Also, I want to be recognised worldwide as a good singer backed with many awards just like my mentor Baba Yinka Ayefele(MON).

“ I thank all my well wishers and fans across the globe most especially Mr. Olufemi Ajadi(CEH), Insp. Ajulo Ayomikun, Mr. Marcus Ajisegiri, Mr. Olumide, my able manager Mr. Possible and others. My prayer is, God bless you all’, he said.
