How Al-Ittihad Dubbed Inter 2: 0 At International Friendly
With two shots from Moussa Diaby in the 25 minute, and 47th minute respectively, Al-ittihad yesterday dubbed Inter 2 goals to nil.
The international friendly played out at the At Monza’s U-Power Stadium.saw Al-Ittihad’s 4-3-1-2 formation coming out tops over Inter’s 3-5-2 lineup.
The game had started with each side sizing up the other and the Ittihad technical crew had to pull out Luiz Felipe for Ahmed Al Ghamdi in the 28th minute due to injury.
There were no further major highlights till the break.
In the 47th minute of play however, Diaby netted in his second goal putting the Saudi team on a gale of subdued celebration.

It was a gale of substitutions for Intern the 63rd minute, bringing in Carlos Augusto for Federico Dimarco; Eddie Salcedo for Marcus Thuram; and Kristjan Asllani for Nicolò Barella, amongst others, but it did not do much in changing the outcome of the game.
Moussa Diaby got a yellow card for what appeared to be a terrible foul of the play, and shorty after, in the 71st minutes, Al-Ittihad effected its own substitution, bringing in Al Shanqiti in place of Saad Al Mosa, and Jota for Moussa Diaby.
Though Inter had better control of the game and was near scoring severally, it failed to make these matter throughout the duration of the encounter.
On the other hand, the opponent’s capitalised on a few opportunities that came, and this made all the difference.
In fact, the several changes were going to make the friendly drab, especially as they did not translate to scoring for more goals.
No other changes made any dramatic impact in the game.
