Hon Ojerinde Fulfils Promise, Distributes Free JAMB Forms To Constituents

Honorable Akeem Ojerinde in the midst of some beneficiaries of his humanitarian gesture of free JAMB forms' distribution exercise at Ifako-Ijaiye Lagos

Honorable Akeem Ojerinde, Legislate Aide to the Speaker, House of Representatives, Rt Honorable Tajudeen Abbas, has brought smiles to the faces of many youths in and outside Ifako-Ijaiye constituency of Lagos State.

This he did through the distribution of free Joint Admission and Matriculation Board (JAMB) examination forms to prospective JAMB candidates from Ifako-Ijaiye.

The humanitarian exercise which lasted for two days saw many youths trooping out to Abeokuta Street, Ifako-Ijaiye, to benefit from the gesture.

The event which held under the auspices of the Nana Educational Support Initiatives (NANA), commenced with a warm welcome from Head of the Media Team, Comrade Bunmi Sanni.

He emphasised the importance of education in the life of individuals and the nation, as well as the critical position of JAMB in accessing higher education.

Other media team members on hand to play assigned roles included: Comrade Akeem Daniels and Comrade Mutiu Yusuf.

The presentation covered key topics, including:

– Step-by-step guidance on the JAMB registration process.

– Important deadlines and requirements.

– One year scholarship scheme to 3 best students in any field of study.

The Question and Answer Session, provided the students an opportunity to clear grey areas in the whole exercise.

According to the organisers, aside helping the beneficiaries enroll for the all-important examinations for tertiary education pursuit in the country, it particularly acted as a motivation for youths from underprivileged homes.

The Eagle also reports that beyond providing free JAMB forms to indigent students, there is provision for post JAMB assistance to best 3 students identified, and these would be provided with resources to enhance their chances of achieving academic goals.

The success of the Honorable Akeem Ojerinde humanitarian exercise could be gleaned from the profound feeling of gratitude expressed by the participants.
