Gunmen Strike In Bayelsa, Kidnap LGA Chairman’s Father

There is anxiety in Sagbama area of Bayelsa state where gun men have kidnapped the  Mr Wellington Magbisa, father of the Chairman, Sagbama Local Government Area of the State..

The police which announced the kidnap, added that it was already on top of the matter trying to arrest the men behind the kidnap.

DSP Butswat Asinim, Spokesman of the command told newsmen that the kidnappers were five in number.

According to him, they gained entrance to the man’s bedroom via an unprotected window and abducted him.

“Five men came in through an unprotected window, captured him and escaped through the water ways,“he said.

The spokesman said that all the sister security agencies have been alerted to rescue the victim and also arrest the captors.
