The Eagle reports that black market operators in Lagos and Abuja are trading 1 dollar to 1 naira at N1660/$ today, February 26, 2024.

This is despite the apex bank’s circular on Wednesday 14th June 2023, stating that all FX windows were now collapsed into the investors & exporters (I&E) window.

According to the data released on the FMDQ Security Exchange, the official forex trading portal showed that the Naira opened at ₦1498.88 per dollar on Thursday, February 22, 2024, and closed at ₦1665.50 per $1 on Friday, February 23, 2024.

Dollar to naira exchange at the Peer2Peer trading segment sells at N1700/$.
