Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate Today, 18th August, 2022

According to the Peer-to-Peer forex trading segment, the Dollar to Naira exchange rate today, 18th of August is set at N682.30/$1.
The local currency incurred a N2 appreciation against its counterpart, as the previous day’s concluding figure at the P2P session was set for N684/$1.
At the Investors and Exporters (I&E) window, where formal forex trades take place, the exchange rate between the naira and the US dollar closed at N429.38/$1.
The value of the Naira gained little on Wednesday, rising 0.3% to settle at N429.38 in the official market from N430.67/$1 in the previous trading session.
Meanwhile, the value of the Naira slightly depreciated by 0.09 per cent to settle at N420.83/$1 in the official Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) forex segment. This is as against Tuesday’s concluding trade of N420.46/$1.
According to black market sources in Lagos and Bureau De Change, today, Naira is purchased at N674/$1 to be sold at N681/$1- a decline of N1.
