Dollar To Naira Exchange Rate 11th August, 2022

The Nigerian Naira commenced the day’s trade at N671.32/$1 against the US Dollar in the Peer-to-peer forex segment, today, 11th August 2022.

This is against yesterday’s concluding session which was, N681/$1, indicating a N9 rise in value for the local currency against its counterpart.

At the Investors and Exporters Window (FMDQ), the local currency against its American counterpart remained flat, as the currencies were traded at N428.75/$1, the same figures it traded on Tuesday.

Meanwhile, at the official Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) trading segment, Naira was traded at N419.37 to 1 US Dollar. As against the previous session which was sold for N419.19/$1, Naira devalued by 0.04 per cent against the American currency.

The digital currencies waxed strong in the past 24 hours. Ethereum (ETH), which is about to undergo an upgrade that has been called one of the most significant developments in the history of cryptocurrency, increased 12.2% to trade at $1,885.88 as the cryptocurrency market closed out yesterday on a positive note.

Bitcoin (BTC) recorded a 6.3 per cent jump to $24,409.32, with Solana (SOL) rising by 11.7 per cent to sell at $44.16. Binance Coin (BNB) improved by 4.7 per cent to $331.99, while TerraClassicUSD (USTC) added 3.4 per cent to quote at $0.0301, with the US Dollar Tether (USDT) trading at $1.00.
