For your information, Digital WASCE is the first ever Computer-Based West African Senior Certification Examination for School candidates, and it is coming with a whole lot of changes.

Those changes are being introduced by the examination body to checkmate fraudulent practices by candidates, and retain the integrity of the examinations.

Those who are likely to be caught unawares are some who have perfected previous conducts by the board and believe that it would be like before.

Over 1.9million students would be sitting for Digital WASCE and only those who sit by the rules would succeed in seeing their results and moving ahead in life.

7 Key Things To Note about Digital WASCE 2025

1. 2 candidates will not have the same questions on each number, so candidates who plan to collaborate by sharing answers would end up failing woefully
2. Candidates’ paper variations for the CB-WASSCE 2025 have been preprinted. Any candidate who chooses to write a paper other than the one assigned will bear the consequences.
3. WAEC is sensitising school principals and teachers to draw the ears of their students against indulging in malpractice as those caught would go in for it.
4. A total of 1,973,253 candidates from 23,554 schools had registered to take the exam, an increase of over 158,000 from the previous year, and there won’t be time to listen to excuses
5. WAEC is mobilising over 26,000 supervisors, majorly senior secondary school teachers to implement the zero tolerance to exam malpractice directive
6. Operators of rogue websites and candidates who patronized them have already been identified by the board for necessary action.
7. The Council is sustaining partnership with the Nigeria Police Force and State governments to enforce breaches with the conduct of the examination.
