Cristiano Ronaldo Is ‘Not Slowing Down’ After Starring In Al-Nassr’s Win

Cristiano Ronaldo scored a hat-trick in the first half and assisted twice as Al-Nassr defeated Abha handily.

Ronaldo’s hat-trick in the first half of the match helped the Saudi Pro League’s biggest teams thrash relegation-threatened Abha 8-0. The Portuguese legend scored three goals and assisted on two more in the opening forty-five minutes of play.

After scoring back-to-back hat-tricks in the Saudi Pro League, the 39-year-old took to Instagram where he shared three match photographs with the caption, “We are not slowing down!”

Ronaldo scored three or more goals in a game for the 65th time in his professional career with his hat trick against Abha. In addition, he achieved 35 trebles after turning 30, which is 29 more than his adversary Lionel Messi has accomplished since reaching the landmark.

Ronaldo and Co will be next seen in action on Friday as they take on Damac in another away league encounter. Despite their star man’s performances this season, Al-Nassr’s chances of lifting the title this season are extremely slim as they currently trail leaders Al-Hilal by 12 points.
