BREAKING NEWS: JAMB releases 2025 UTME results


There is breaking news for admission-seeking individuals: the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) has released results of the 2025 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME) examinations
The board announced the release today stating that results of 39,834 candidates have however been withheld.
The JAMB Registrar, Prof. Ishaq Oloyede, made the announcement at JAMB headquarters, Bwari Abuja.
Providing a lead on the reason for seizure of some results, Oloyede cited examination malpractices.
There is however more on the breaking news on JAMB: He said about 80 individuals are currently being questioned by the authority for exam-related offences.
Of this number, Anambra State is in the lead.
”The new trends observed this year were in the Registration and Examination processes, and they were mainly in the following categories; Identity Fraud, and Biometric Fraud of Combined Thumbprint of Candidate”, Oloyede said..
“Other infractions were impersonator at the point of registration with the active involvement of few CBT Centres, double registration, and attempted substitution of self by candidates.”

Number of candidates caught in “WhatsApp runs: 244
Number of candidates with “extraneous fingerprints”: 3,656
CBT Centres implicated for extraneous finger prints:

- Sascon International School, Maitama, Abuja,
- Wudil Computer Information Technology. Wudil, Kano State and
- Penta M &Amp; Centre 2, Tambuwal LGA, Sokoto, Sokoto State.
