Arsenal Receive Massive Injury Boost After Scan Results

In a significant boost to Arsenal’s title hopes, Thomas Partey anticipates being healthy to play against Everton on Saturday.

Mikel Arteta revealed following Friday night’s FA Cup fourth round loss at Manchester City that the Ghanaian international midfielder would need to have an MRI on some injured ribs after being substituted at halftime.

The revelation greatly concerned Arsenal supporters, who believe that Partey is currently Arteta’s team’s most indispensable player.

However, worries over Partey have been partly allayed as sources close to the player told Goal that the scan findings did not reveal anything alarming.

The 29-year-old is reportedly growing more optimistic that he will be able to practice normally ahead of Saturday’s Premier League trip to Everton and that he should be able to play at Goodison Park.

On Saturday, the struggling Everton will be the Gunners’ opponent when they return to Premier League action.
