It is double grief for the police family in Kofi, after a male corporal shot another Corporal believed to be his girlfriend.
A police corporal attached to the Ajaokuta Division of the Kogi State Police Command first shot his girlfriend, identified as Corporal Grace, before taking his own life with an AK-47 rifle.
The incident occurred around 9pm on Thursday, October 23.
The tragedy happened in the unholy hours of the night.

That was when Corporal Amos, reportedly left his night-duty post and went to Corporal Grace’s quarter and shot her three times.
The motive remains unconfirmed, but a source has attributed the disagreement to alleged infidelity.
