It is said that for every good work, there is a reward, and when it comes to impactful grassroots politics in this dispensation, one name that would readily come to mind is that of Comrade Badmus Kilamuwaye.
A close associate of the Ogun State chieftain of the New Nigeria People’s Party (NNPP) Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi Oguntoyinbo, Comrade Kilamuwaye has been diligent in the political trenches of the southwest geopolitical zone of the NNPP, where he is Public Relations Officer (PRO).
Besides acting as the effective mouthpiece of the party from that axis, advancing its course in the public domain, Kilamuwaye has also remained a supportive follower, standing up for assignments of note aimed at moving NNPP and its standard bearers forward.
Come this December 20, 2024, he would stand to be counted amongst winners in this year’s The Eagle Awards & Banquet, as “Most Promising Political Icon in Ogun State”.

A letter from The Eagle Newsmedia Organisation, which communicated the honour to the politician, said Kilamuwaye is being recognised for his consistency and diligence to the course of the NNPP in the region, and secondarily for tireless contribution to the political ascendency of Ambassador Ajadi.
Arrangements are in top gear to give the awardees’ a befitting honour even as a full citation of each winner would be read on the D’Day.
