Sergey Palkin, the CEO of Shakhtar Donetsk, was there at Stamford Bridge on April 16 when Chelsea defeated Everton 6-0. Following the game, the official made hints that the young player would quit the Ukrainian team due to interest from elite European teams, such as Liverpool, Arsenal, and the Blues, three of the biggest clubs in the Premier League.
After the match, Palkin told reporters, “This summer window, he has a big chance to move to some big clubs. We have had some contacts with big clubs and some are not negotiating with us directly but are getting a feel for the summer environment. He will definitely move to a top European club this summer. When I was at Chelsea versus Everton, many people asked me about Sudakov.”
With two straight victories in the Premier League, including five goals against West Ham over the weekend, Mauricio Pochettino’s team is currently full of confidence. On Saturday, they will travel to Nottingham Forest for their next match.
