How To Apply For The 2023/2024 Education Bursary Award (EBA)

Do you know that application is still ongoing for the 2023/2024 Education Bursary Award (EBA) .

The education bursary award which closes by May 15, 2024, is an initiative of the federal government to support Nigerians who may desire to further their education but do not have the financial capacity.

In an publication on its website announcing the scholarship., the Federal Ministry of Education stated thus:

“The Federal Ministry of Education invites interested and qualified Nigerians to participate in the 2023/2024 Nigerian Scholarship Award (NSA) and Education Bursary Award (EBA) tenable in Nigerian  Public Tertiary Institutions.

Other details of the Education Bursary Award are as follows:

ELIGIBILITY

  1. Applicants MUST be registered students studying Education in Nigerian Colleges of Education and Universities.
  2. Applicants must be full-time students.
  3. All applicants including Persons with disabilities must be in their second year or above.
  4. A beneficiary of any subsisting scholarship is not eligible.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

All qualified candidates are advised to:

  1. Visit Federal Ministry of Education’s website www.education.gov.ng and click on Federal Scholarship Board ICON on the Home Page;
  2. Read Guidelines and then Complete the Application Form online;  and
  3. Print the completed Form.

Note that any Double Application will be disqualified!

Applicants for the 2023/2024 Education Bursary Award (EBA) are to attach the following documents

  1. Letter of Admission to the Institution
  2. CGPA result.
  3. National Identity Number
  4. State of Origin Certificate

The registration portal will be opened  2nd  April, 2024 to 13th May, 2024.

Other important information are:

  1. Awards are tenable in Nigeria and take effect from the beginning of the academic session.
  2. No Award shall be held at the same time with another Award nor for part-time studies.
  3. Change of course or Institution is not allowed while enjoying the award.
  4. Application Deadline : 13-05-2024
