Why Man Utd Outcast Sancho Could Be Given Second Chance

Jadon Sancho, who is now on loan from Manchester United, is likely to get another opportunity at Old Trafford as a summertime backroom reunion is planned.

Sancho returned to Borussia Dortmund during the January transfer window on a temporary loan after being barred from Manchester United following his public feud with manager Erik ten Hag in August of last year. There were rumours circulating that the team intended to sell the English winger in the summer on a permanent basis. The Red Devils may now reconsider their position on the player, according to the Manchester Evening News.

MEN clarified that the Premier League’s biggest clubs would think about keeping Sancho once Southampton director of football Jason Wilcox may arrive at Old Trafford the following season. The England international is apparently highly regarded by Wilcox, who worked with him at Manchester City’s academy from 2015 to 2017. Prior to being elevated to the position of director of academy, Wilcox was the academy coach for the Cityzens.

Since moving to the Bundesliga in January, the United loanee has appeared in 11 games across all competitions, scoring twice and providing as many assists.
