Children’s Church Inspires Potter’s House Congregation At Christmas Service

It was a different setting at the Akute Branch of the Redeemed Evangelical Mission (TREM) a.k.a Potter’s House on Christmas Day.

The children’s Church literarily took over the stage after a short exhortation by resident pastor, Rev Mark Adudu, reenacting the story of the birth of Jesus.

The scenes were aptly captured and all the characters in elaborate and depictive costumes, as generously provided by Beacon Costumes Chief Executive Officer (CEO), and Choir Director, Sis Barbara Ochie Daniels.

She also provided direction for the scenes.

It was a refreshing and inspiring time for both the children and the entire congregation, after which the pastor led profuse prayers for Sis Ochie Daniels.

Earlier in his ministration, the man of God had admonished the congregation not to lose sight of the many moral lessons in the birth of Jesus.

He said the birth of the Messiah in a manger of all places, is indicative of the fact that men of low esteem could still make it in life.

Individuals should therefore not be intimidated by their days of humble beginning.

He also encourage all not to lose sight of the fact that Jesus Christ is the reason for the season, a man who meant a lot of things to different people.

These included problem solver, healer, saviour, provider, comforter, Alpha and Omega, sacrificial and blood of new convenient amongst others.

He preached that despite being the son of God, that Jesus never allowed pride, but followed order, as exemplified by his asking to be baptized by John The Baptist, rather than the other way round. Potter’s House church is located right at the Akute Bus stop
