How Dec 14 turned black Thursday for two Nigerians in Malaysia

Last week December 11, 2023, will go down in history as a black Thursday, not only for two Nigerians at the centre of this unfolding tragic story but all other people connected with them.

Two supposedly bosom friends before the tragic day, one now lies stone dead in the morgue awaiting final interment rites, while the other is currently telling the police all he knew about the blossom friendship turn sour.

Identified simply as Michael in the video, his visit to  KC’s abode in Amanpuri area of the country turned tragic, the host paying with his life, in an obviously cruel circumstance.

Amidst wailing and gnashing of teeth at the background even while his covered remains were being wheeled out by police, were obvious feelers jeolousy may have played a part in the untimely death of KC both of them impliedly, from the Eastern part of Nigeria.

The background, from the naration of the black Thursday tragedy is that both were actually staying together before Michael moved out, ostensibly in search of greener pastures, but without clear indication where he was living.

However, while KC progressed in his endeavours, it was not clear why Michael wasn’t.

What followed however was that Michael paid a visit and was warmly welcome by an unsuspecting KC.

According to the narrator, who obviously resides in Malaysia and videoed everything, Michael suddenly appeared around 9am local time telling KC he would be leaving same day, December 11.

Later that day, he was sighted outside by neighbours who wondered why he was already going even in the face of imminent rain.

Michael reportedly responded that he was only going to get some medicine nearby as he wasn’t feeling well.

“Suddenly, we heard that two black men were fighting and had stabbed each other and that one was dead” said the narrator.

He added that they quickly rushed to the apartment, Block 2 in a 10-flour block only to find that Michael had already stabbed KC to death.

“No one knows what came about, but believe it, it is jealousy and envy”, he declared.

“So, Michael went to drink liquor to kill himself but the police got there on time and gave him something to drink.

“They have taken him to the hospital and we have been here since, for more than five hours, standing here and waiting for the police to bring down the deceased”.

He went ahead to warn against fully accepting back a friend after a quarrel, relying on details of the black Thursday.

“So my brother and sister, I want you to understand something: whenever you have a friend who has split from you because of envy and jealousy, do not stay in the same room with the person alone, especially if you are doing well and he is not happy with you…not everyone that laughs with you has good intentions.

“Another thing is that if you have a problem with someone and later on settle your case,..forgive but do not come close to the person like before…no one knows why he stabbed this young man to death” more than fifteen times.

“O my God, people are too heartless, this world is full of wickedness. KC, it is a pity, but may your soul rest in peace”.

“This is envy, you stab your friend that has been feeding you for more than 13 years. You stab him to death because of jealousy. KC, may your soul rest in peace”.
