If there is any important resolution which Nollywood A list actor, Jim Iyke has made in the recent, it is never to be desperate in life again.

Jim Iyke who featured in a Youtube interview hosted by Baby Face, recounted how desperation opened him up for exploitation even from quarters he never expected.

It was all in his bid to save the life of his sick mother.  “I will never be desperate again in my life. Desperation was what took me there, to take my mother there, hoping that a man of God would heal her.

If she were to live, 20 TB Joshuas would not stop her.“It was her time, nobody would have made me enter that space, he was not the only one I went to, I have been to five or six men of God, is it because I do not want to mention names? How they drove me, the money they took from me”, Jim Iyke said.

The Eagle reports that the actor, in another interview, while reacting to visiting the Synagogue church some years back for deliverance, he said he visited the church to pray as his mother was in coma.:

“Some people saw the video and concluded that it was some theatrics but it is the truth. I told God I would say in that church for two years if that’s what it takes to bring my mother back.

“I am not an island of knowledge, I have done my part but one thing you can take to the bank is that I will remain a true son of Gladis.”
