Why Mbappe Must Sack His Own Mother To Secure Real Madrid Transfer 

PSG forward, Kylian Mbappe will reportedly have to sack his own mother in order to secure a transfer to Real Madrid, with Fayza Lamari unable to act as his agent.

Currently, the forward for the France national team is being represented by members of his immediate family. However, when it comes to negotiating a future relocation to Spain, that circumstance might provide problems.

Mbappe’s contract at Paris Saint-Germain is set to expire in 2024, and he has not yet extended it, leading to ongoing speculation that he will sign with Real Madrid. The 24-year-old, according to Marca, will need to cut off all business links with his mother in order to get a transfer to Santiago Bernabeu.

That is because a new FIFA rule dictates that transfers and contracts can only be discussed by licensed agents. Lamari is not listed on the FIFA Agent Platform, and is therefore unable to represent any player on an official basis.

Lamari faces the prospect of a fine if she continues to defend her son because she won’t be able to get the necessary certificates until May 2024. There are, however, a few gaps that could be filled because teams in Germany and England currently have protections in place that exempt them from FIFA rules. If Mbappe wanted to keep his mother in place and communicate with other clubs, he could move to the Bundesliga or Premier League.
