Scottish Premiership: Celtic 2 Rangers 2; Furuhashi’s Confession

As the Scottish Premiership progresses, Celtic captain, Callum McGregor has confessed his team wasn’t at its best, Monday.
This followed a 2-2 draw to Rangers in the league, with 18 matches remaining.
“We started really well, got the goal and you could see the atmosphere in the place, we were dominating the game. But then we let them back into the game. When you do that against a decent team, you are giving them a chance”, said McGregor to Sky Sports, afterwards.
Had Rangers won, it wouldn’t have changed much on the table, where it still stands a clear 9 points behind Celtic who are leading with 55 points.

The game played at Ibrox had intriguing highlights including Kyogo Furuhashi’s late equalizer that gave Celtic the draw.
The Eagle findings show that the game began in earnest with the Japanese forward latching on an all-important pass from Alfredo Morelos, which he effectively utilised by shooting past goalkeeper, Allan McgGregor; This was in the fifth minute of the game of intense interest.
Rangers being the home side played under more pressure, and did much to turn the tide, but could only get the breathers after half time, when they got two succeeding goals.
However, their keeper, Joe Hart, try as he did, could not stop a 47th minute fire from Ryan Kent which went through the far corner of the net.
Rangers got a golden chance when Fashion Sakala was then brought down by a Celtic player within the penalty, Rangers captain, James Tavernier converting the resultant spot-kick. This was in the 53rd minute, only for a leveler by Kyogo Furuhashi to follow in the 88th minute.
