When it comes to love, not many people are willing to accept no as an answer, and this may explain what happened between a mother of one, identified as Ibukun Emmanuel and her neighbor, Muyideen Ajayi.
In a case that has now landed the man at the police station, he reportedly battered the lady for daring to say no to his love advances.
Incidentally, Ajayi does not seem to have good reputation in the neigbourhood but has been allegedly associated with thuggery.
Though the incident occurred about a week ago, at their house located at Bajomo compound, Ahmadiyya B/Stop , Agbado Ijaiye, Lagos, it is still reverberating in the neigbourhood, given the expectation of justice for the woman.April,2020
Revealing what happened, Ibukun said, “Muyideen has been making sexual advances to me which I’ve refused and made my stance known to him”.

The picture of the assault have since the social media, showing the woman wearing cut on her battered lips and blood splashed on her face.
When contacted, the state Police Public Relations Officer, Bala Elkana, said the suspect had been arrested, adding that the command had launched an investigation into the incident
