2 Students(Male & Female) in D.S Adegbenro I.C.T Polytechnic were killed by a fast-speed moving trailer in itori, eruku road opposite F.R.S.C quarters.

The Students were reported to have journeyed from their residential area to pick up their IT Letter, and unknown to them, the road through which they were redirected was a ‘one way’.

According to an eye witness, after the accident, the unidentified male student was ‘Pleading for help’, but wasn’t noticed by the F.R.S.C. “he was shouting…please help me!, but no one responded untill, his fellow students were called up to assist”.
However, the girl was rushed to the hospital were she was confirmed dead.

The Scene was characterised by a violent protest by the “final year students”, which lasted for 3-4 hours.
The final year students took any viable means of expressing their feelings.
This includes: violent noise, breaking of bottles.

The F.R.S.C Was not vindicated as the students destroyed their facilities, while chanting “We don’t Need F.R.S.C”.

Nonetheless, the nigerian police was reported by another witness to have attacked the rioting students at itori with teargas, gunshots.
This approach silenced the riot, and it was culminated.
