According to Diario Sport, Barcelona want to switch out Athletic Club center-back Inigo Martinez for Gerard Pique.

Pique has stated he would make a comeback following Saturday’s La Liga match at Camp Nou against Almeria.

Juan Foyth is a professional football player from Argentina. He plays as a centre-back for Villarreal in the Premier League. Foyth is a versatile player. Barcelona needs players who can play in different areas when needed in order to strengthen their pack.

He was on loan with Villarreal and later made a permanent move to the Spanish club. He made 11 more appearances in Villarreal’s winning Europa campaign. He became a key player at right-back under Unai Emery.

For Manchester City, he is currently a central defender. He established himself in Spain while playing for Athletic Bilbao, where he made 200 appearances before moving on to Manchester City in 2018. He had a mixed season as he fell down Pep Guardiola’s team’s priority list and was his third option of center-back after John Stones and Ruben Dias.
