The presidential candidate of the Labour Party, Peter Obi has dusted his All Progressives Congress (APC) counterpart, Bola Tinubu in Saturday’s presidential election for Lagos.
Obi polled 582,664 votes as against the 541,850 obtained by Tinubu
Although, the APC candidate won more local government areas, Obi defeated Tinubu with the majority of the votes cast in the state in the 2023 Elections.
With all the results of the 20 local governments declared, Tinubu won in 11 while Obi won in nine local governments.
