Youth Of Wonders Worldwide Celebrates Winners Of Quiz Competition

Quiz competition – In a bid to promote academic excellence among school children and quality education in Nigeria , a non-Government Agency, Youth Of Wonders Worldwide (YOWW) recently organised an Inter-School Quiz & Essay Competition in Lagos.
The event which held at Rona Kings and Queens Int’l school Hall, Isolo Ejigbo, Lagos, honoured three winners with outstanding performance in the competition.
For the Quiz competition which included : English Language ,Christian Religious Studies (CRS) and Current Affairs , Rona Kings and Queens Int’l School was winner; Francel College emerged second while De Best Will College took the third position.

A release from the organisers said the quiz competition aims at building the I Q of students; help them improve on their self-confidence and charisma in the area of articulation, as well as deepen their knowledge in the various subjects students are taught in schools.
Thereafter, schools were also mandated to write an essay on Corruption & Its Effects .
At the end of the essay competition, Joen College emerged as winner; Francel College was second while Rona Kings and Queens Int’l School took third position.
Convener of Youth Of Wonders Worldwide (YOWW) initiative, Barr. Mrs Esther Ehinosen Ileogben, reiterated on the vision and essence of the programme, saying: “Our vision lies in mentoring youths against the spate of immoral and destructive lifestyle and securing promising future for them .

“Our mission is to ensure that high standard of education is guaranteed in all areas with the fear of God , and ethics and morality is taught in schools.”

She expressed appreciation to :Priests Peace & justice initiative (PPJ), Pery College of Fashion Henri Gold publishers, Shoyeson Publishers, fraa & co for donating books, Bishop Emeka Ezewudo, Dr. Kingsley Dike, Evang. Ebenezer Ken Obioma among others for their tremendous supports.
