Access Bank aims to empower 700,000 MSMEs nationwide with a N50 billion loan through its ‘YouThrive’ campaign, as announced by Deputy Managing Director Victor Etuokwu at a recent news conference in Lagos.

He said that MSMEs that would benefit from the initiative would receive training to make the best use of the loan, according to a BusinessDay report.

The initiative targets individuals aged 21 to 40, providing not just lending but also training in areas such as Technology, Creatives, Business Management, and Skill acquisition.

Chioma Ogwo, Head of Emerging Businesses, mentioned job prospects for participants, with 1000 exceptional individuals potentially hired by Access Bank and its parent companies to work in various sectors.
