Published

on

Since news of the demolition of the house of Yinka Ayefele by the Oyo State government broke early this morning, the social media has been abuzz with reactions.

The Eagle investigations show that most of the reactions have been in condemnation of the government action, with little or no reference to the legality or otherwise.

Below, we publish some of the comments that have trailed the demolition:

This is callous, inhuman, insensitivity, envious and hatred, to the Mann Yinka Ayefele, despite his condition, a man just picking up himself after his accident ordeal, God has an alternative ways Brother, it is well..

My take on fresh FM (Ayefele demolished radio station situated in Ibadan)

The lesson I learnt from this; what if ayefele constructed this in Ekiti? Ayefele is from Ipoti ekiti (ijero local govt) I am sure this 800million Naira worth of properties wouldn’t have been destroyed overnight just like that.

Anyways where is the freedom of the press? Why can’t oga ajimobi wait for court injunction?
With my little experience on properties, did the building just fly there without the approval of urban and regional planning, and all validated documents?

Friends and folk, let’s endeavor to invest in our home at times!

I am so sad right now for brother Yinka. So sorry about this!

FRESH 105.9 FM currently broadcasting.I urge people to be cautious when commenting on this sensitive matter. It’s just part of the building, not the entire building being pulled down.People should stop being biased and unreasonably sentimental.

Who and how many people will go and advertise there o? U can’t compare Ibadan to Ekiti o

Solar Well, I am not against siting businesses outside ekiti, but we all have to watch, and understand the game.

This Ayefele in particular doesn’t have anything under is belt in Ekiti. It could have just been a transition for him at the moment. He shld be able to know if the govt. is for him or against.

Politics i must say…there are lots of petrol stations wrongly situated in ibadan n placed where there should be adjoined road…but yet are overlooked…

He has been making money with it since and we never heard of it. He wined and dined with the devil. Let him seek redress in the same court. E sympathise with him but this is not only him, Gayose, FFK, and others has been battered and bruised by this govt. We are all in it. This is change

Ajimobi is Boo’d up with Fascism!

He christened himself ‘Constituted Authority’. And in spite of the negative nomenclature that typifies that moniker, it tickles him real good.

… It is difficult for anyone to look away from the demolition that just took place in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital, involving the property of a popular Juju artiste, Yinka Aiyefele, a physically challenged, who’s made good of his chosen career, regardless. The pictures are displeasing to the sight – they do not represent empathetic leadership by whatever shades.

Sad! They don’t learn from history. Weak men who use state apparatus to fight their fellow men. Thankfully, God is not like them. He is a true Judge that will serve rewards even to the 4th generation. He doesnt take lightly the tears of the innocent and the blood of the guiltless.

Why are people being unnecessarily emotional on national issues. The government said the building is obstructing traffic and causing accidents and some people are here saying Ayefele this and that. Is it the first or will it be the last building to be demolished by government? If he has good title he should rather collect his compensation and go to another place to rebuild his business. But if he has no papers or bad title then that is it. Being famous does not make any difference please. They are both in business so there is no humanitarianism in this case at all.

This is Yinka Ayefele on wheel chair.

PDP govt of Jonathan gave him National Honour of MON for rising to stardom as a musician despite being challenged physically owing to auto accident.

Today, APC govt demolished his N800m investment, a radio station and music house in Ibadan.

How else can wickedness be demonstrated?

#PDP govt honoured Ayefele.

#APC govt destroyed his N800m investment.
