There are more reasons than one for the above question. For example, Chelsea FC fans are seeing the new custodians of the Club from different perspectives. The reason is because they want  a man like Abrahamovic that gave full commitment to the club.

Chelsea confirmed the American Billionnaire–Todd Boehly is now in control of the club as the takeover has been completed today.

Abrahamovic has completed the sale of the club and related  companies  to an investment group led by Todd and the Cleartake capital.

Mr Boehly stated  the vision of new owners clearly thus: we want to make Chelsea fans proud.

But the question in the minds of fans is, whether Todd would succeed in turning Chelsea into a new leaf?

According to Eze Emmanuel, “Chelsea fans forever miss Roman Abrahamovic because he gave his love and passion for the club and it was pure, for the American owner? Let us hope we don’t see old and finished players in the Chelsea of todays”.

Richard Bamford added that ” we fans think the rest teams in England are hiding because we are back and better than ever”.

Speaking further, he said, “we can all hear the crying and broking hearts of rival  fans that thought Chelsea were finished. To them, I say we are just getting started.

James Micheal said “I just hope the new owner will continue from where the former stopped”.

Alabi Jamiu said Chelsea will now  be looking for players of 20 million.

Fredrick Wachira said “Now we are  going  to win every cup”.

Chidera Ezike said “I hope  you guys get a scout to get good players and allow the Coach to get involve in transfer  to get good players that will fit in to his pattern of play, rebuild the stadium to a modern one with bigger capacity and build  the club to best culture of football.

Chelsea Manager, Thomas Tuchel believes that the club need to be very good in scouting if they want to improve and strengthen  the squad.

Tuchel made it known that there is  need for the club to be very good inscouting,  very good in recruiting, very good in decision making. It needs to sign players who are fit, who are the best

“It needs people who have the mentality, mindset, positional profile that are needed to improve the squad”.

Todd Boehly who made his mission clear that ” we want to make Chelsea fan extremely proud, along with our commitment to developing the Youth squad and acquiring the best talent, our plan of action is to invest in the club for the long-term and build on Chelsea’s great  history of success”.
