Wike’s Chief Of Staff Affirms Speculations On Working For Tinubu

Nyesom Wike, the governor of Rivers State, has shattered many Nigerians’ hopes that he will officially announce his favored choice for president as he promised last year.

However, the governor’s chief of staff, Chukwuemeka Woke, has subtly confirmed speculations that Wike is working for the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Bola Tinubu.

Eearlier this month, Wike refuted the claims that he promised to publicly announce his preferred candidate in January.

According to him, the Rivers State residents are already aware of the candidate to vote for during the presidential election, stating that their respective local government chairmen have communicated to them.

Many taunted Wike for being a coward and claimed he was afraid of suspension which is the reason he did not want to openly declare his support for Tinubu.

The governor in response said he and other 5-G aggrieved governors will act on election eve, February 24, 2023.

In a series of photos that emerged online, Wike’s chief of staff, Emeka Woke, who was with the Chairman of Emuoha Local Government area, Chidi Lloyd, on Wednesday, was captured rocking Tinubu’s campaign material.

The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) chieftains were seen in Ogbakiri having a grassroots sensitization rally and this might be a confirmation that Wike is working for Tinubu.
