Why President Tinubu Should Release Nnamdi Kanu

The General Overseer of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Movement, Pastor Lazarus Muoka has joined calls for release of Mr Nnamdi Kanu, leader of the proscribed Indigenous people of Biafra (IPOB)
Muoka, who made the call today, gave reasons why it had become advisable for the President Bola Tinubu-led federal government to do now.
The man of God said one of the many benefits of the release of Kanu is that it would restore peace in the South East region and also the confidence of the youths on the federal government

He said it would also stem economic losses occasioned by the prolonged sit-at-home being foisted by his followers on account of his long incarceration.
The Lord’s Chosen leader admonished that there was no alternative to peace, adding that pursuing peace via the avenue of release of Mazi Nnamdi Kanu was advisable.
Providing more reasons Why President Tinubu Should Release Nnamdi Kanu he said, it would end the unrest and loss of lives being recorded in the region.

It was on the occasion of the church’s two day programme themed “God that Does what No Man Can Do” that Rev Muoka spoke.
The Eagle reports that the General Overseer (GO) of the Lord’s Chosen Charismatic Revival Ministries, had, last April, admonished Nigerians to use the Easter period to promote peace and love in the country.
He said there was no better way of appreciating what acknowledging and appreciating what the Lord Jesus Christ had done for humanity than for its people to toe the path of peace.

“God has offered us everlasting peace at no cost. However, the cost will be huge if we reject the free offer. If the world, particularly Nigerians, will acknowledge and appreciate the work of grace and return to God, then the political and economic problems will become a thing of the past.”, Pastor Muoka said.
He added: “This weekend, as we return to God with apology for our sins, peace shall return and the country shall rejoice again. There shall be peace and joy for every participant because God Almighty has seen the hopelessness they are subjected to and has prepared the crusade to shower peace and joy unspeakable to them.”
