Anthony Martial was spotted making a flying visit to Manchester United’s training centre on Thursday morning that lasted just five minutes.

The France forward, who arrived at Carrington at 8:56am, was seen leaving once more shortly after 9am. The timetable has changed since Tuesday’s prior session, when Erik ten Hag’s team was scheduled to arrive at that time.

Martial spent barely five minutes on the premises as a result of being told that training wouldn’t begin until 12:30 p.m., according to the Manchester Evening News. For that session, the rest of the Red Devils started showing up about 11:30am.

Martial was not moved on during the summer transfer window, but United did spend £72 million ($90m) on Denmark international striker Rasmus Hojlund and it is he – fresh from making his debut off the bench away at Arsenal last time out – that is expected to lead the line for the Red Devils heading forward.
