Who Is Behind Terror Attacks, Intimidation Of Bullion Hotel Workers?
Who is behind terror attacks and intimidation of workers of Bullion Hotels Limited located in the Shimawa area of Ogun State?
That is now the million dollar question following the third recorded incident in the recent, in which the hotel’s manpower, especially security men were targeted.
During yesterday’s storm, by the thugs masquerading as soldiers, Taiwo Lawal, a security guard, sustained severe injuries while attempting to protect Ambassador Olufemi Ajadi, the hotel’s CEO and a gubernatorial candidate for the NNPP party in the upcoming Ogun State elections.

It was not an easy confrontation, and at the end of the day, items such as phones, a significant sum of money, and numerous power banks had been allegedly stolen.
A competent source told our correspondent that the terror attacks were being masterminded by the same Alowonle Boys of Shimawa, loyal to the chairman of the Okada riders’ in the area, but there were indications that he may be fronting for some one else.
By the time they were done, many of the security boys and other hotel workers either had injuries or lost precious item, but everyone was left terrified. Vehicles belonging to the company were equally affected.

The terror of the confrontation still hung in the air as at the time of this report.
Incidentally, some of the attackers dressed in soldier uniforms, although their true identity and mission were not totally clear,
There were feelers however that they must have been mobilised by the same Alowonle.
A source told our correspondent that Bullion Security men had responded gallantly to an earlier confrontation, and four of these thugs, who invaded the Bullion Hotel were apprehended.
Ironically, the two Bullion Hotel security officers, Jamiu Opeyemi and Alado, who took the suspects to the police station, were detained alongside the apprehended suspects, by Officers identified simply as Lawal and Kenny.

It was a shocker however, when information flittered that the same suspects had been freed, whereas the hotel security workers involved were being moved to Abeokuta.
The Bullion Entertainment Manager, Temitope Olajide, security officers, Soji Ileyemi, Adedayo Opeyemi, Dauda Yusuf, and Temitope Makinde, were among those detained.
The hotel’s CCTV system has played a crucial role in identifying both the thugs and the police officers involved in the attack, providing vital evidence for ongoing investigations.
In an earlier story by The Eagle correspondent, it was stated that Ajadi’s increasingly rising political profile may not be unconnected with the terror attacks.
