When City of Champions, a parish of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) held its “7 days of glory” programme recently, the impact was outstanding

Praise, and more praises

The church is located on Shonola Street, in the Aguda area of Ogba Ikeja Lagos, with the progamme beginning from November 21.

With “Appointed Time” as theme for the opening day, there was unlimited praise and worship but the capping came when the man of God, Pastor Rotimi Akinwale watered the congregation with the word of God.

He differentiated for the congregation, Appointed time and APPOINTED TIME, emphasising that whereas one could get a missed appointment with an embassy

Petitioning the Almighty by the altar

to be rescheduled, that the same could not be said of a missed appointment with God.

In its shortness, the message was loaded and left impact on listeners, and the praise and worship segments were particularly soul-lifting for all who attended the progamme. These were attested to by some of the members of City of Champions who spoke with our correspondent.
