What They Did To Bet9ja Staker Who Placed Bet And Refused Paying

A Betnaija staker has met his waterloo after staking his favourite odds and refused to pay the due fee – he was forced to do rigorous manual labour as punishment.

The incident played out at the Bet9ja shop situated at Segun Osoba road, Lambe bus-stop on July 25, according to a competent source.

It is a day the client identified as Mr. Olubodun Tayo would not forget in a hurry, as he had to clean the and pack out refuse from a gutter on Lambe road.

In addition, he was forced to sweep the shop surroundings as punishment.

Narrating the matter, the Betnaija shop owner who simply gave his name as Mr.Ahmed bemoaned a situation whereby stakers would gladly pocket their winnings but would be reluctant to pay once they are on the losing side.

He said instead, they would resort to argument, saying that was what played out on the day in question.

He said when this happens, other clients and neigbours would want to compel the defaulting client to pay up, to the point of mal-handling them if need be.

 “I personally always ask for them to be left alone but this particular guy is well known in some other shops to be guilty of this behavior, that is the reason why I subjected him to do the community service. “And I asked my boys to watch over him till he finished all the works assigned to him, I believe this will serve him and others known to behave like this a lesson”.

Further investigation made it clear that Olubodun was later released after he carried out all the work he was assigned to do.
