Founder of Christ Embassy Church in Nigeria, Pastor Chris Oyakhilome has given indication why he instructed his members to embark on a three-day fast.

Speaking via virtual connection Sunday, he first admonished the congregation on the right way of life – which according to him was choosing the way that Jesus Christ lived his life while on earth.

In the message, Pastor Oyakhilome urged the congregation to show love one to another as Jesus did in the bible, to pray like never before particularly, this end of the year.

Also, they should study the bible, act and meditate on the word of God.

Pastor Oyakhilome used the opportunity to urge his members not to miss a three-days fasting and prayer holding from 29 to 31 December 2020.

According to him, the programme was to project the word of God into 2021 on finance, families,  jobs, academics and every other area of life to work according to God’s divine purpose.

“Don’t forget to pray for our ministries all over the world” he added.

While closing the service, he prayed for different categories of people; the sick, for financial breakthrough, for women in need of the fruit of womb and the children.
