What I Want To Do When I Retire From Pro Football –Lionel Messi

Argentine and Paris Saint Germain legend, Lionel Messi has revealed what he would like to do upon retirement from professional football.

Messi was reported by Mirror, as detailing his next move, possibly upon what he considers his final World Cup.

Now, 35-year-old forward who has won a record seven Ballons d’Or, including the most recent award in 2021. and a soccer idol with fans spanning the continents., said football management was not part of it

The Mirror report notes that the upcoming World Cup would be his fifth for La Albiceleste, equalling a record held by only a handful of players, but he expects it to be his last.

“I don’t really intend to be a coach, but [former Real Madrid manager Zinedine] Zidane said exactly that and, after that, he became a coach and won Champions League 3 times,” Messi told Star+ . “I like sporting director, team building, accompanying coaches, but I’m not entirely sure, either.”

Lionel Messi has been reported saying he was enjoying himself at Paris Saint-Germain, though his move last year was a sort of a shock.

With the World Cup around the corner, the Argentine says he is focused for the tournament, the most followed soccer event the world over.

Talking about his form recently, he was quoted as saying: “I feel different to what it was last year. I had a bad time, I never finished finding myself,” Messi said.

“This year is different. I arrived with another head, more accommodated to the club, to the locker room, my teammates, to the game.
