Watchman Prophetic Conference Ignites Spiritual Awakening At Cave Of Adullam

This year’s Watchman Prophetic Conference, which held September 25–27, 2025 turned out an ideal event for Christian spiritual reawakening and revival.

The programme which held at the Cave of Adullam in the Ogudu GRA of Lagos, drew participants from near and far both physically and virtually.

Aside people who connected online from various parts of the world, 37 attendees from Benue, 8 from Nasarawa, and others from Ekiti made it physically to the conference.

These included ministers and youth aiming to realign the Church with God’s principles generally, but to ignite a renewed passion for personal faith particularly.

This year, the conference focused on the theme: Melchizedek Priesthood: Oath of Sonship, and coincides with the Jewish New Year, Rosh Hashanah.

Rev Benjamin Torkuma, from Benue State, spoke on the purpose of the programme:

“For many years, we have been missing important truths and only play religion. By the help of the Holy Spirit, God is now showing us His mind—where we derail and how we can return to the right path.

“These meetings reconnect the church to Christ and prepare believers for the coming of the Lord”, he said

Sarah Istifanus, who travelled from Nasarawa, described the Watchman Prophetic Conference as life-changing, adding: “It feels like I am hearing heaven directly.

“This programme gives us a new birth. What we receive here cannot be kept to ourselves; we must share it with others,” she said.

Reverend Mrs. Victoria Zibah while highlighting how the conference could help youth participants develop a personal relationship with God, stated:

The ministry started as a house fellowship, but outgrew our home. By God’s providence, we now have a 7-bedroom duplex with an underground hall, like a cave -Pastor Mrs Chinyere Isibor

“There’s a whole lot of things that the Church of Jesus Christ is supposed to know and do that we did not know all these years.

“It’s like we play religion. But by the help of the Holy Spirit, God shows us where we derail and how to get back on track.

“Before, it was about what the pastor or prophet says, but now they wake up to the Father—God is my Father; He can speak to me, and I can speak to Him”, she stated.

The venue, known as the Cave of Adullam, has a unique story. Pastor Mrs. Chinyere Isibor, wife of the visionary ministry leader, providing insight to this, said:

“The ministry started as a house fellowship, but outgrew our home and needed a new location. By God’s providence, we found a seven-bedroom duplex with an underground hall, which looks like a cave. It feels prophetic, echoing the biblical story of David and his men.”

Stating that the ministry’s vision is grounded in dedication, discipline, and spiritual hunger, she added: “From the day I give my life to Christ, I am hungry for Him. I study His Word ferociously and seek to follow His guidance sincerely. This shapes the teaching and mentoring ministry we now have”.

The Watchman Prophetic Conference, under the theme continues to be a beacon of spiritual growth, awakening, and prophetic impartation.

By nurturing both leaders and youth, the programme sets a standard for ministry excellence and personal faith, ensuring that the Church aligns with God’s vision for His people.
