Video of millions of naira stashed away: EFCC, police deny story

Video report of supposed huge amounts of money stashed away have made the rounds on social media.

A lady’s voice in the video could be heard saying: “See money, money don spoil  Live oh, wadata, EFCC discover money.

“See where dem hide am. Money don spoil. Make una see am. See money. Police barracks, wadata.

“Politicians, una no go kill us.”

Further checks by The Eagle, however, indicate that the people have come out to deny the story.”

However, reacting, police said the supposed naira notes were mosquito repellent papers and not naira notes.
