Endrick, a teenage sensation, is proving to Real Madrid that he is a formidable opponent before finalising his €60 million (£52 million/$66 million) move to Santiago Bernabeu.

The highly-regarded 17-year-old is on his way to Spain, where he will eventually make a big-money transfer to La Liga powerhouse Real Madrid in July 2024 after turning 18. For the time being, the bright young player is still playing for Palmeiras in his native Brazil.

Endrick has drawn Real’s attention with his goal-scoring antics in front of goal, even at such a young age. But he’s showing prospective employers that he’s much more than just a talented artist with strong finishing abilities.

During a meeting with Fortaleza, with Palmerias trailing early in the second half to a goal from Thiago Galhardo, Endrick appeared to lash out at marker Titi. He was clearly not impressed with the attention being shown to him by the no-nonsense defender and looked to have delivered a punch into the midriff of his opponent.

Endrick managed to avoid being sent off, therefore no punishment was meted out, and Palmeiras managed to draw 2-2 with Fortaleza to earn a point. The promising teenager, who made his senior debut for Brazil during the most recent international break and became the youngest player to be chosen by the Selecao since 1994 when former Real Madrid and Barcelona star Ronaldo was selected, will undoubtedly play a significant role for them going forward.
