VIDEO: How Nolly Ace Actor, Akeem Adeyemi Attacked By Thugs On Movie Set

Nollywood actress Wumi Toriola recently posted a frightening video of Akeem Adeyemi, one of her colleague, being attacked by goons on a set of a movie.

After being assaulted by street thugs in a place where he had gone for a movie shoot, Adeyemi was seen sobbing in a viral video that she posted on her Instagram page on Tuesday.

The actress claims that the attackers changed a quiet scene of filming into a gory one.

She wrote, “See what area boys did, to what end. Peaceful filming turned this. Help. Sawmill Gbagada.”

Adebayo Salami, a gifted actor, replied to the predicament by disclosing that the offender had been arrested.

The Theatre Arts and Motion Pictures Practitioners Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, was also given the go-ahead to take appropriate steps and ensure the security of its members.

He said, “This is an unacceptable experience. Though I am glad to know that the culprit has been apprehended by officers of the law, I enjoin the leadership of @tampanglobal to look into this situation as a matter of urgency.

“The safety and security of filmmakers are paramount to us. Beyond the physical assault, losing a day of production means more money has to be spent above the budgeted funds. No filmmaker wants to go through such stress. So sorry @iamakeemadeyemi and other production members.”
