VIDEO: Haller Enjoys Emotional Dortumurd Return After Testicular Cancer

After battling cancer, Sebastien Haller made his competitive debut on Sunday.
Despite joining Borussia Dortmund last summer, Haller did not make his debut until Sunday’s 4-3 win against Augsburg because he had to undergo surgery to remove a tumour.

The striker came off the bench after 62 minutes, replacing Youssoufa Moukoko for his first competitive appearance. Haller brought his child out on to the field after the final whistle.
The attacker underwent surgery to have a testicular tumor removed after it was found in July.

However, the Ivory Coast international’s struggle did not finish there, as he had a second operation in November.
Haller hopes to have a part in his team’s Bundesliga match against Mainz on Wednesday.
