Video: Concerned Woman Raises Alarm Over RRS Team, BRT Buying Fuel From Fuel Stations

In a now-viral video, a concerned citizen has raised alarm over the rate the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) and Broad Rapid Transportation (BRT) purchase fuel from the filling station.

According to the woman, who made a video of the situation, she noted that this is a cause to look into as it is dangerous to the safety of Lagosians and does not speak well of the governing body.

She questioned the reason the Lagos Chief of Staff will allow such acts to be carried out as it is against the law for the two parastatals to be seen at the fueling stations.

“Good morning Lagosians. Something is happening o, something very very alarming is happening because to be do ju e nisin, Governor Jide ma fo ri gbe pe.  This issue of Police maintenance and fueling- why is it that police vehicles has started going to the filling station to be buying fuel ?

She noted that on no condition should the RRS queue for fuel in a filling station and according to her observation, the BRT has also ventured into the act.

She was further seen questioning an RRS operative on why he brought the Police vehicle into the filling station and in response, the officer apologized as he fled with immediate effect.
