UN Ambassador Launches Bilateral Office, Skills Training In Mushin

A United Nations Ambassador and Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Goodmus Learning center, Dr Adekunle Badmus has made history by launching a bilateral agreement initiative with government, sponsoring over fifty students’ scholarships.

The beneficiaries were drawn from Mushin local government on a scheme that also covers a weekly empowerment scheme for over ten widows

The initiative which is in collaboration with some stakeholders including illustrious sons and daughters of Mushin community, would see the beneficiaries benefiting from a unique educational and skills training scheme.

The secretariat of the Mushin Local Government was a beehive on the day of the event, with dignitaries coming from different walks of life, to the Mushin local government secretariat, venue of the programme.

The eminent personalities that graced the event included the Chief Executive Officer (CEOs) of the following companies Goodmus Learning Center, Ambassador Dr. Adekunle Badmus, chairman and vice chairman Mushin local government, Honorable Emmanuel Bamigboye and Honorable Aruwe haruna, Brand ambassadors of the scheme, Nollywood actress Olaide Bakare and actor cum producer, Ayo Badmus

Also in attendance were the M.D Arc View – Mr. Idowu Okegbenro, CEO Arc View – Amb. Dr. Segun Osundairo, CEO Abis Farmers Market- Dr Emmanuel Nelson Usman, Apostle Ogunsakin, CEO Branding Technology – Mr. Mike Odewade ,Cinematographer, Adegbola Adeyemo. Robotics and Coding – Mr Damilola who gave their immense support and contributions as friends and Partners of Goodmus learning center.

Honourable Bamigboye while speaking, urged the beneficiaries to become good ambassadors and focus on their study adding that the government at the local level would do more in collaboration with the Bilateral initiative.

For Mr Badmus, who donated five laptops to outstanding students of he skills training, also urged them to focus on their education sp that they could become the best in their fields.

He also empowered widows through weekly stipends thereby capturing the less privileged in the society

In his words, he spoke about partnership with the federal government as it aims get lawmakers involved in the project with a potential market of trillions in Naira.

Nollywood, Actress Olaide Bakare offered to support the initiate thereby providing professional assistance to the students and pledged to groom any who is aspiring to become a successful as she is in the Nollywood industry.

On the other hand, Ayo Badmus who lauded the initiative said the scheme would in many ways improve the lives of the beneficiaries.

Adegbola Adeyemo, a professional cinematographer also lauded the scheme, adding that Nigeria needed to prioritse skill acquisition for youths.

Speaking with the media head and Ambassador of the Bilateral scheme Oluwayomi Oluwapelumi  expressed the optimism that the scheme had come to stay, adding that it would leave a great impact on the people of Mushin in particular and Lagos at large.
