Tweeps Trail Photos Of Tinubu With Grandchildren On Social Media

Nigerians’ reactions to pictures of the All Progressive Congress, APC, presidential candidate Asiwaju Bola Tinubu with his grandchildren that leaked on Twitter and Instagram on Thursday have been trickling in.

Tinubu’s son shared photos of the APC flag bearer on his verified Instagram handle with the caption and hashtags, “ Hi Grandpa #FamilyFirst#TinubuFamily #FamilyMan #Grandpa #TakenOnSunday #Noella #BATSenior #BATJunior #Leader.”

Bashir Ahmad, President Muhammad Buhari’s special assistant for digital media, also posted Tinubu’s images on Twitter on Thursday.

Ahmad tweeted, “Good morning from our presidential candidate, Asiwaju Bola Ahmad Tinubu, and his grandchildren. A wonderful family person.”

Recall that Tinubu shared a video of himself cycling on a fitness bike on Sunday.

The video, which went viral, had since elicited questions about his whereabouts.

However, the spokesman for the APC presidential campaign council, Festus Keyamo, stated that Tinubu regularly goes cycling and that he was not attempting to make a statement.

In an appearance with Politics Today on Channels Television on Wednesday, Keyamo referred to Tinubu as a “avid cyclist.”

His words, “People who are close to him know that he is an avid cyclist. He does that all the time. It is his regular routine. So, we are not trying to prove anything to anybody.”

Meanwhile, on Thursday, Tinubu also shared a photo of himself in an office on Instagram with the phrase “Stay Focused.”
