Donald Trump’s campaign to return to the White House has got another boost with the release from prison today, of Steve Bannon, a strong political ally.

Baron is one of the brains behind Donald Trump’s far-right movement, and is back on American streets after spending nearly four months behind bars.

He had been serving at a federal prison in Connecticut, for a contempt of Congress conviction.

Already having the press to speak to, Bannon said: “You can see today, I’m far from broken. I’ve been empowered by my four months at Danbury federal prison,”

Bannon is regarded as one of the masterminds behind Trump’s successful 2016 presidential campaign,, but he sentenced to four months in prison in October 2022, over defying a subpoena to testify before the congressional panel investigating the January 6, 2021, attack on the US Capitol by Trump’s supporters.

“I was able to listen, to observe and to learn from working-class minorities”, Bannon Bannon, who called himself a political prisoner, said, and according to agency reports, claimed that young African American and Hispanic inmates in Danbury considered Vice President Kamala Harris to be the “queen” of mass incarceration.

He had appealed his sentence but, a federal appeals court upheld the conviction in May, and District Judge Carl Nichols, a Trump appointee, revoked Bannon’s bail at a court hearing, ordering him to report to prison.

Bannon made an impact during Trump’s 2016 campaign and later served in the White House as his chief strategist.

He did not last long however at the White House, leaving after seven months, due to differences with other high ranking officers.

With him, back, it is expected that Donald Trump’s campaign would receive a tremendous boost should he be absorbed as key element once again.
