Trudeau Resignation: Trump Serious US Is Taking Over Canada

United States President-elect, Donald Trump’s dream of US taking over Canada, is not a joke after all.

He has reiterated the suggestion of Canada becoming the 51^st state of America amidst resignation notice by Canadian Prime Minister Justin Trudeau.

“It’s become obvious to me with the internal battles that I cannot be the one to carry the liberal standard into the next election”, the prime minister was quoted in the press as stating, a development Trump has latched on to reiterate his call for Canada to become a part of the United States of America.

According to him, it would be in the best interest of Canada, which he had been criticizing alongside Mexico as costing the US resources in trade deficit and subsidies payments.

He says Trudeau is resiging because he knew the U.S. could no longer “suffer the massive Trade Deficits and Subsidies that Canada needs to stay afloat.”

Earlier he had stated that if the two countries merged they would become totally secure from the threat of the Russian and Chinese Ships that are constantly surrounding them.

On the implication of US taking over Canada, he said:

“If Canada merged with the US, there would be no tariffs, taxes would go way down, and they would be totally secure from the threat of the Russian and Chinese Ships that are constantly surrounding them,” incoming President Trump posted on social media.

“Together, what a great Nation it would be!!!” he added.

Agency reports say Trudeau announced he would leave office as soon as the ruling Liberal party chooses a new leader.

“I intend to resign as party leader, as Prime Minister, after the party selects its next leader,” Trudeau, who has been in power since 2015, told reporters in Ottawa following a protracted political crisis that saw top Liberal allies urge him to quit.

One medium said it was not immediately clear how long Trudeau would remain in office as a caretaker premier.

He said the Liberal leadership race would be “a robust, nationwide competitive process.”
