Tragedy As Shop Assistant Stabs Newly-Wedded Employer And …

A 16 year old shop assistant sacked by his newly-wedded employer, has reacted harshly, sending the man to an early grave.

He simply did it stabbing him with a pair of scissors right in the presence of his mother.

The newly-wedded employer, Abdul’azeez Aliyu (popularly known as Dan-malam) has now gone to an early grave, while the boy has been apprehended by the police.

The tragic incident came just three weeks into the married life of late Abdul’azeez and his heartthrob,  Jamila.

The bride’s father and community head of Kumbiya-Kumbiya, Malam Ibrahim Garba Hassan Pantami, said the new 27 year old bride, Jamila, who unfortunately witnessed the death, has been devastated.

“She was in deep pain when I met her.

“Because she is a memorizer of the Qur’an, I advised her to hold firmly to her recitation for comfort,” Pantami said.

According to the report, referencing a family friend, Rabi’u Baushe, the late Abdul’azeez had recently completed his university education and secured a government job in Abuja.

He said Abdul’azeez had dismissed a number of youths from his café business due to issues bordering on discipline.

One of them however returned to the shop on a day that the late employer came there on his way to accompanying his mother to the neigbourhood.

“At the shop, the dismissed boy appeared and was asked to leave.

“The boy ran into a nearby tailor’s shop, picked up a pair of scissors, and returned. As Abdul’azeez was about to step out, he was stabbed in the chest in front of his mother,” Baushe said.

Gombe Police Command Public Relations Officer, SP Buhari Abdullahi, said the suspect, had been arrested.

“The suspect claimed he was demanding money owed to him by the victim.

“An argument broke out and he stabbed Abdul’azeez in anger,” the police spokesman said, adding that an investigation is ongoing.

Abdul’azeez was buried on Sunday at the Bolari Juma’at Mosque cemetery, amid prayers from family members, friends, and sympathisers, information from a Daily Trust report shows.
