Tope Indomie Announces Date For Presentation Of ‘New Beginning’

Nigerian rising star in Afro-Juju and Highlife music genre, Temitope Olajide, popularly known as Tope Indomie, has officially announced the date for the release of his first album with the title: New Beginning.

Olajide’s whose band goes by the name Tope Indomie Global Band, made the official announcement yesterday, while addressing our correspondent and some of his fans at his office in Ibafo, Ogun State.

Olajide has been a popular face at gig venues and other social gatherings for a long time now, but the album presentation will mark an important landmark in his musical career.

On why he decided to call the album New Beginning, he told The Eagle correspondent that it was because of the majorly songs of revival that the work features, adding that in the lyrics are therapeutic ingredients that would help to lift the soul of Nigerians.

Olajide referred to the challenging times which Nigerians had been through in the recent, especially with Covid-19 and the nationwide protests, adding that songs in the album were timely therapies.

“The launching is on Saturday, 12 December at AB Grace Hotel, Torotoro, Ibafo, Ogun State and the special guest artiste of the day is the Ibadan-based Juju artiste, Otunba Femi Fadipe, the Amuludun Oranmiyan of Yoruba Land, popularly known as Femolancaster,” he said.

Artistes and comedians that would grace the day are Shola Noble, Dayo Flavour, MC DeskTop and MC Wonderful, all from Bullion Records.

Expectations are on that the album launch would help further entrench Tope Indomie as musical brand in the minds of fans.
